Hi, I am Aaron Barnett.

I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Aaron Barnett and I live with my wife and two high school kids in Lakeville, MN.  I retired from the FAA in 2019 after 31 years of service.  Working for the FAA gave me the opportunity to live all over the country, starting in Ohio then living in Utah, Alaska, Colorado, back to Ohio, back to Colorado, and finally finishing in Washington DC.

Throughout my entire life I have experienced and participated in many activities including hiking, climbing, and cycling which I am still an avid participant.  I have travelled to Europe; Italy, Spain, and France 9 times.  Through it all I have always pursued my love of photography.   Owning a couple of studios, shooting wedding, engagement, portraits, HS Seniors and creating travel and landscape images.

After retirement, I started taking my photography even more seriously and realized there is a huge “gap” in available photography services.  Although people tend to get photos taken occasionally, or have thousands of snapshots hidden away on their computer or phone, they rarely create family heirloom photography….the kind you pass down for generations.  In fact, most families spend 4x the money on Starbucks that they do on capturing cherished memories, events, and portraits.  I would like to change that, and create photographs that are truly art and will be passed on for generations in your family!

I am a boutique photographer, meaning that I specialize in providing high-quality, personalized photography services to a smaller, more exclusive clientele. My style is distinct, and I am known for my attention to detail, unique perspectives, and ability to create a one-of-a-kind experience for my clients.

I focus on a portraits and weddings.  This is primarily HS Seniors, families, headshots, weddings, and commercial fashion. I have a specialized skill set that allows me to create unique and personalized images that reflect my client's individuality and personality.

I am passionate about building an intimate relationship with my clients. I take the time to get to know them and understand their specific needs and preferences. I also offer additional services such as hair and makeup, styling, and custom prints.

Being a boutique photographer, I am selective about the number of clients I take on, this allows me to provide a more personalized and attentive service. I am more expensive than traditional photographers, but the results are often worth the extra cost, as the photographs are truly unique and special.



Overall, I am a professional who provides a high-end, exclusive, and personal service that results in one-of-a-kind photographs that are tailored to the client's unique style and preferences.
